COR '15 Project Spring Cleaning 15th Feb
Hello everyone! We're back with another blog post!
After sharing our love with loved ones on the 14th of Feb ,Valentines Day ( I am sure you all had great dates hehehe) its time to give back to our community.
Today, COR members together with our HI friends helped out at an CIC (Compassion in Community) event called "Project Spring Cleaning". Its an half-yearly event where CIC organizes community projects which aims to serve as a platform for people to serve the poor and also to ignite a spirit of purposeful volunteerism in Singapore.

As for today's event, we were split into different teams and were each allocated different houses to help the elderly beneficiaries. Each group were given masks and cleaning materials to spring clean their houses for the upcoming CNY！We also brought along CNY goodies (love letters) for them and CNY decorations help create Chinese New year "atmosphere" in their houses as well!
At the end of the day, I am sure many were tired after spring cleaning! But I am very sure everyone's happy interacting with the elderly too! The elderly were are really friendly and also offered us drinks and food after helping them！Some of us even got to see their antique collection of cameras while cleaning and many of us had light heart-ed conversations with them. It was definitely a fulfilling Sunday for all of us！=)
