Comm Retreat to Desaru!

It was 11th January 2013! The COR '13 members were all up early to make their way to NTU or Kranji MRT station and then across the causeway we go for our committee retreat to Desaru! (:

The first activity in Malaysia: Filling our stomach before all the fun started! Nom nom!

Next, we went to a go kart centre and adrenaline was pumping as the engine of the go karts started up! Off we go onto the track! Zoooom!

The next place that we visited was an ostrich farm!

We also had lots of fun feeding the ostriches!

 Next, we had a baby lobster lunch at a local restaurant. The food was delicious!

After lunch, we traveled to Desaru fruit farm. Although we did not enter the farm, there was still some takeaway as there was a talk on bees.

Dinner was up next and we had a surprise birthday celebration for Jing Yun, Yang Yu and Wilfred. (:

The last activity for our trip was a cruise down the river to look at fireflies. The trees look so pretty with the fireflies around them. (:

With all the fun and laughter, our retreat came to an end. Though it was a long day, we had fun and really enjoyed ourselves a lot! It was a great way to relax and enjoy the company of an awesome group before the next semester begins! (:
