Hey
everybody! We are back after a long study break. Last Saturday, 14 May 2016, we
had our second local CIP outing with our Deaf friends at Mindville@Napiri. Mindville@Napiri is a
multiservice centre that integrates four services -
a Home and a Hostel/Group Home for adults with intellectually disability; a
Children’s Wing and MINDS third Training and Development Centre (TDC). This
time, we worked with Children’s Wing to run some activities for the children
there. First, we taught the children there how to make a
tote bag out of old clothes. It was great to see the sense of achievement on
the children’s faces when they have successfully made the tote bag on their
own.

After which,we proceeded to the games. It was even more awesome to see the
smiles on the children’s faces as they played the games we have planned for
them. |
