Instructors Recruitment

Recruitment Drive For Instructor

COR is an annual project organised by the Welfare Services Club (NTU) which aims to reach out to the hearing impaired (HI) community in Singapore. This year, we are organising an overseas expedition to Bintan, Indonesia for the HI youths from Singapore.

COR aims to challenge the hearing-impaired youths physically and mentally & foster new friendships by widening their social circle This is also a great opportunity for YOU to interact with them and learn some basic signings. Instructors will be exposed to their kind of lifestyle, activities and communication which will be an enriching and fulfilling experience.

Now, we have now opened up a limited number of vacancies for those interested to sign up as instructors for this camp!

*Please note that ALL instructors are expected to be available for the Pre-Camp as well as camp preparation during the last 2 weeks of May (18th – 31st May 2009) *

I was a Group Leader in Camp OutReach 1996, and had fond memories of it. I remembered all the HI kids were housed in Hall 9, and the activities were all around the NTU campus.

Gosh, most of the HI kids are probably grown up by now.

We had games at the lake beside Hall 6, as well as at Yunnan Garden, and many other places. It was tiring and yet fun.

Those were the days.

I wonder where my fellow GLs, along with many other instructors, were now these days.

Anyway, good luck and have a successful Camp Outreach 2009.
