The annual canvassing effort of COR committee: Garang Guni 2008 was greeted with light showers of rain. Despite the wet weather, COR members together with RSPHI still embarked on the mission to raise funds for our Hearing-Impared related projects like COR '09, SparkZ and HI Singapore.
The operation was carried out with speed and precision with groups demonstrating teamwork and eagerness during the collection. It is heartwarming to see that groups that have finished earlier, volunteered to help other groups with the collection. At the end of the day, even though everybody was tired, we still had some inter groups bonding session through some simple games
The committee will like to commemorate all the volunteers for their hard work and effort put in Thank you to all households that contributed to our collection of newspaper and clothing, without your donations funding for our events would have been more tedious. We also appreciate the kind words and the offer of drinks from some very nice residents :)
